About Us
The 521 Club was founded in 2004 shortly after the death of a dear friend, Josh Russell. The club is directed by Blaine Davis, Kent Barton and Matt Turyn, and assisted by many other friends. The mission of the 521 Club is to raise money for charity donations in Josh's name. All proceeds of the Josh Russell Memorial Fishing Derby are donated to the Josh Russell Ski Racing Scholarship Fund. For more information on the scholarship fund, please visit www.jrskiracing.org. Our goal is to bring the community of Contoocook, and the surrounding area a bigger and better derby every year. We are a non-profit organization, whereas all donations are tax deductible.

Josh was a good friend with lighthearted spirit, a quick wit and a love of all things outdoors. He was a Craftsman by trade, a Fisherman, Skier, Hiker, Joker, and Friend by hobby. We strive to keep his spirit alive by carrying on with the things that meant the most to Josh in his twenty-nine years.
